What is this place?
You have stumbled into the magical and mysterious land of *A (read “asterisk A”), which belongs to ... well, it belongs to me.
This is primarily intended as a personal website for me, whose main function is to provide a documentation of my constructed languages – and, to some extent, their associated cultures. For completeness – and somewhat for fun – this website also contains various other stuff I’ve made, and related matters. Have a poke around and see what you find.
This design was completely and entirely thought up by me and me alone – however, I owe thanks to my friends, who have provided me with constructive criticism and have helped me improve on the design. Also, the website is almost entirely greyscale because I thought the extreme contrast between black and white looked sexy. The only thing on the website that I didn’t make is the Creative Commons logo at the bottom.
Who the hell are you?
My name is Adam Heurlin – though a lot of people know me as “Arimah” online – and I shall herein describe my personality... to some extent. Sort of. I’ll try to outline it for you.
Some people say I can be a bit weird at times, but at least I try to be nice to people... most of the time. I tend to be curious and inquisitive about most things, but I do have a soft spot for physics, chemistry, biology, anthropology (and most sciences, really) and, of course, languages. That said, my primary interests (and skills, if I may say so myself) actually lie in mathematics and computer science.
If you want to know more about me, or even get to know me, feel free to contact me.
Aren’t you the one who hit me over the head and tied m—?
That’s disturbing. I don’t do that kind of stuff.
I hire people to do it for me.
